Breastfeeding Classes
Taking a breastfeeding class prenatally helps boost your confidence in breastfeeding. I provide evidence based information so that you start out your breastfeeding relationship with solid information. Mothers who feel confident and supported in their breastfeeding relationship get off to a good start breastfeeding. Some families may be concerned about the initial costs of education and consultations, but with proper breastfeeding education and support a family can save over $1500 in the first year alone (figuring on $.12/oz of formula though most are over $.20/oz, not including bottles, the time and money spent sterilizing water or purchasing sterile water, potential health care costs, and other vitamins and medications that may be prescribed by a doctor).
